Preschool - Sixth Grade

Sunday School is a fun learning atmosphere for preschool - 6th grade featuring Tent Tales, Holy Word Studio (movies, skits & puppet shows), Garden of Eatin', Wheel of Verses (games to enhance the lesson), Creatin Station (arts and crafts), and Temple Tunes (childrens music and bell choir).

Many children at Holy Cross are also given the opportunity to play in a bell choir.  During Sunday School, all 3rd-6th graders play the bells during "Temple Tunes", a station in our Sunday School program dedicated to music.  The rotation sends the children to bell choir once every three weeks.  The children perform twice a year during church services.  This gives all the children a chance to try the bells without having to commit to an evening rehearsal.  Each child plays one bell at a time and their music is color coded.  They learn about counting and rhythm but they do not have to know how to read music to participate.  Their director is Eric Cox.  She has been directing this group for three years.
