Dear friends and visitors to our website,

I am thrilled to be your new pastor. I have been here for nearly two months now and already I can tell that this is an exciting place to be. We are so blessed Holy Cross. God has placed such wonderful people with amazing talents here. We have two amazing worship services with talented people leading worship. I turned 50 shortly after I arrived here. It feels like God has sent me on an adventure. I love adventures.

Your children have found a way to nestle themselves into my heart already. We have had some fun during children sermons and while I have been teaching confirmation and fifth grade Holy Communion preparation classes. We have awesome children at Holy Cross!

We have been traveling through Lent together over the past few weeks. We have been visited by several of the men who were witnesses of Jesus Christ's last day on earth. Next week we will be visited by Joseph of Arimathea, the man who provided the place where Jesus body was entombed.

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday. We will have a huge procession with palms to begin our worship services that Sunday morning. The week continues with Maundy Thursday's "Upper Room" communion service. On Good Friday we will have a multimedia worship service around the Stations of the Cross. Easter Sunday begins with fellowship at our Easter Breakfast and two celebration worship services. Please join us as often as possible during this one of the most holy weeks of the church year.

We will be receiving new members at Holy Cross on April 29^th at both worship services. Prior to that day we will be having two orientation meetings for the potential new members. They will be held on successive Tuesday evenings April 17^th and 24^th. Attendance to one of these meetings will prepare you to become new members. If you are transferring your membership from another church please let your church know of you decision so that proper arrangements can be made.
